Do you accept insurance?

Naturopathic doctors are out-of-network providers, thus our visits are not typically covered. However, you may request a superbill which can be submitted to your PPO plan. Please review your individual coverage to determine if labs, imaging, and prescriptions may be covered. Medicare will not cover naturopathic medical care.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Our secure EHR system maintains credit card or HSA/FSA information for billing following visits.

How often will we meet?

Our care is individualized based on each person’s needs. This will be discussed with each visit. You may expect to have your first follow-up visit 2 – 6 weeks after the initial visit.

What can I do to prepare for my first appointment?

After scheduling your first visit you will be invited to our EHR system and receive several consent forms and questionnaires to complete. These documents will require 30 – 60 minutes to complete and will need to be submitted at least 48 hours prior to your visit- if not your appointment will be rescheduled. You may wish to upload and share any recent labs, imaging, or other pertinent information to the EHR patient portal.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

When you schedule an appointment, that time is reserved especially for you and other patients can’t schedule. Therefore, Integrative Healthwerks requires that cancellations and scheduling changes be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Monday appointments must be cancelled before 5:00 pm CT the Friday prior.

What if I’m running late to my appointment?

We are committed to being on time with patients’ appointments. If you arrive late to your appointment, your appointment will end at the scheduled time, and you will be charged for the full length of the originally scheduled appointment.

Where can I purchase prescribed supplements?

We will always discuss where to find high quality recommended supplements or we may place a special order on your behalf. Typically, we utilize the virtual dispensary, Fullscript. New patients will receive an invitation via email to set-up your account. Patients with existing recommendations can access Fullscript here.

How do I know if naturopathic medicine is helpful for me?

We offer a complimentary 10 minute consultation with Dr. Schenewerk. You will have the opportunity to share your health needs and we will provide insight on how we may consider evaluating and treating your concerns. No medical advice will be given.
